Every once in awhile, I can't sleep.
People sleep differently. I am the type of sleeper who can get to sleep at night whenever I want to. Anxiety, anger, nothing can keep me from falling asleep. My sleep weakness comes in the morning. I often wake up early and can't get back to sleep, despite REALLY wanting to.
Usually that means waking up sometime after 6 and tossing and turning until I actually need to be up. If anxiety is present - in the form of a presentation later in the day, for example - I'll wake up around 5.
I can probably count on one hand the number of nights I've been up unwillingly at 3 or 4 am like I am tonight, which only means I have no idea where to start to get back to sleep.
