Facebook pet peeve

Why does facebook tell me that my friend changed "their" website? Last I checked my friend was one person, and thus he changed his website. I would be far less annoyed by reading "his/her" than "their", but I am also fairly certain that facebook has gender information for many of its users. How much code could it take to implement that information?
